Ownership forms media content through the bias in the articles they cover, such as political bias, for instance, the Times is a left-wing publication, thereby biassing and presenting the Conservative party in a more favourable light, and the Mirror is more politically associated with the Labor Party, because the stories they report on and how they report their stories will attract the audience with the same political alignment.

What has been the impact of recent technologies on all elements of the newspaper industry and how has it responded to these challenges ? Refer to The Mirror and The Times ( 12)
The news industry has expanded rapidly with the advent of technology but has had to adapt as newspapers have migrated to the internet, for example The Mirror online allows their audience to view on their website and on an app, And they also don't have a paywall for their viewers to see all the news, but to have ads to gain their money from the sale of newspapers that have been sold less and less over time. However, the Times has a paywall where digital descriptions have several price increases and as the price increases, the more viewers have features such as exclusive newsletters and incentives to give their audiences an opportunity to purchase the more costly subscriptions. This allows a broader variety of viewers to access their material and has a much wider scope than what newspapers could ever do, since newspapers have migrated to the internet.

In the UK, video games are governed by the Games Rating Authority (GRA) using the PEGI system to rate the minimum age at which the game can be sold, using variables such as fear and aggression to help generate these ratings. As games continued to grow to more adult audiences, the PEGI rating was developed to avoid younger audiences being exposed to mature content.
