The Daily Mirror is is a daily tabloid newspaper founded in 1903, the owner of The Daily Mirror is Reach plc, the news paper is politically aligned with the Labour Party. The Tines is a British daily news paper, it began in 1785 and is a broadsheet, the newspaper is politically aligned with the Conservative Party. The owner of The Times is News UK. 

The Daily Mirror being a tabloid means it has young adults and teenagers as the audience, as it is more picture and colour orientated, uses bold font and bright colours, this makes the Mirror stand out as it uses eye catching elements to grab the readers attention, it does this through simple text and short stories, they mostly do stories on celebrity gossip, this magazine is aimed towards working class young adults and teenagers. The Tines being a broadsheet means it has more adult and older generation of readers, broadsheets are quality news papers where, broadsheet uses higher news content that will get more circulation. The Times is aimed more to upper class and formal audience as the use of the long sentence and go into more depth and deeper analysis.
